Citadel’s systematic investing business, Global Quantitative Strategies (GQS), will be hosting a PhD information session from 6:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday 14th May at the Fitzhugh Auditorium, Exeter College (Cohen Quad). There will be post-session refreshments from 7:00pm, when you can meet members of Citadel GQS's teams.
GQS quantitative researchers will introduce you to quantitative finance and show you how your PhD can lead to a successful career in quantitative finance at Citadel GQS.
The talk will feature Dr. Victor Spirin and Dr. Florian Wechsung, who both work on alpha research at GQS. Victor received his MS (2011) and PhD (2016) in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, joining GQS in 2019. Florian received his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Oxford in 2019 and worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU before joining GQS in 2022.
