Saïd Business School runs a portfolio of academic pre-university summer schools for students aged 15 to 18, covering a range of subjects including Future Climate Tech Innovators, AI and Machine Learning Pioneers, and Future Entrepreneurs. These programmes are delivered in partnership with departments across the University of Oxford, with departments providing subject-matter expertise and Oxford Saïd contributing business skills expertise, programme delivery, and student experience support.
Students from across the globe attend these two-week programmes on campus in Oxford, where they learn from University academics and subject-matter experts while gaining an insight into undergraduate life at Oxford. Many participants are also likely to be considering applying to the University in the future.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic Student Ambassadors to support the delivery of these flagship summer schools. Ambassadors will play an important role in helping to provide a safe, enriching, stimulating, and enjoyable experience for participants. Responsibilities include helping to ensure student safety, accompanying students between teaching, accommodation, and extra-curricular locations, supporting pre-planned events and activities under the guidance of the Programme Director and programme team, and sharing insights into student and College life at Oxford. The roles would suit responsive, enthusiastic students who enjoy working with young people from around the world and collaborating as part of a team. These positions also offer valuable opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Applicants must be current undergraduate or postgraduate students at the University of Oxford with a genuine interest in working with young people.
