TimeTrace Labs is building edge-native world models for real-time state decoding from motion. We spun out of the University of Oxford last year with support from Oxford University Innovation. We provide the verification layer between intent and reality: continuously understanding what a physical system is actually doing at the sensor level.

One highlight of our work is Sonata, a world model of motion with applications in robotics, autonomous systems, healthcare and beyond. We work closely with NVIDIA, and our commercial partners include a major US healthcare system.

Our small team of researchers and engineers, including several Oxford graduates, works across frontier machine learning and the physical sciences. We’re looking to meet mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists, ML researchers and engineers interested in full-time roles or MSc and PhD internships.
