  • AI agents, machine learning, fluid dynamics and vaccine manufacturing
  • Fully funded 3.5-year PhD
  • Home & International applicants
  • UKRI stipend + research training support
  • Round 1 deadline: 31 October 2026

About the project
This interdisciplinary project will explore physics-grounded learning of AI agents for the design and optimisation
of vaccine reactors and next-generation manufacturing processes.
Research focus
The research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, fluid dynamics, physics-based
modelling and chemical engineering, with a focus on translating computational advances into reactor-design
decisions.
Who should apply
Applications are encouraged from candidates with backgrounds in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science,
Mathematics, Fluid Dynamics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or closely related disciplines
