The 9th International Conference on Mathematical Methods and Computational Techniques in Science and Engineering will be held in Athens, Greece, January 17-19, 2025 and you are invited to upload your Abstract or Papers until January 7, 2025.

This is to announce fully funded PhD opportunities at the Centre for Doctoral Training in Algebra, Geometry, and Quantum Fields (AGQ), a collaborative initiative among Heriot-Watt University, the University of Edinburgh, and the University of Glasgow, funded by EPSRC. 

The School of Mathematics of the University of Edinburgh and Public Health Scotland invite you to participate in the Edinburgh Undergraduate Operational Research Challenge. The challenge is to design a solution for a practical problem using operational research. If you are interested in using numerate techniques to solve practical problems and enable decision-makers to execute better decisions and make a difference for society, then this challenge is for you!
