An introduction to Double-Scaled SYK

Abstract
Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev is an ensemble of quantum mechanical models, consisting of N Majorana fermions with p-body interactions. In the double-scaling limit, we take both N and p to be large, holding p^2/N fixed. In this regime, we can write down an expansion of the partition function using chord diagrams.
