The aim of this workshop is to bring together mathematical modellers, epidemiologists, climate scientists and public health specialists to identify key open challenges in our understanding of how climate change affects infectious diseases. The one-day workshop will consist of a series of talks and sessions.

Turning thought in to form is a mysterious process with which artists, scientists, philosophers and, indeed, all of us engage. But though the outcomes, mathematical, artistic, philosophical, may be different, might there be much that is common to all?
Job applications involve a lot of work and can be overwhelming. Join us for a workshop and Q+A session focused on breaking down academic applications: we’ll talk about approaching reference letter writers, writing research statements, and discussing what makes a great CV and covering letter.

Come along to the Common Room on 23 November for an evening of quizzing. Teams of up to 7 welcome - if you've got more then split in two!
