The aim of this workshop is to bring together mathematical modellers, epidemiologists, climate scientists and public health specialists to identify key open challenges in our understanding of how climate change affects infectious diseases. The one-day workshop will consist of a series of talks and sessions.

Job applications involve a lot of work and can be overwhelming. Join us for a workshop and Q+A session focused on breaking down academic applications: we’ll talk about approaching reference letter writers, writing research statements, and discussing what makes a great CV and covering letter.

We'll be in the common room this coming Tuesday from 11. Come join us for a quick study break and to meet fellow mathematicians.

Come along to the Common Room on 23 November for an evening of quizzing. Teams of up to 7 welcome - if you've got more then split in two!

Food, drink and prizes provided - just bring yourself, your heads and a pen.

A quick reminder of the upcoming Mathematrix Careers Event on Monday 23rd October at 1pm in N3.12, where we will have some postdocs and faculty to answer your questions and offer a space for discussion about all things careers in academia and industry.
