The Language Centre has its usual array of courses this term. Enrolment for Trinity term is open until 12 noon on Wednesday of Week 1 (30 April). Classes take place weekly, online or in person, with many lunchtime and evening sessions on offer.

The University of Oxford’s Public and Community Engagement with Research (PCER) Fund offers termly funding rounds to support researchers and engagement professionals in developing or enhancing their research through high-quality public and community engagement activities. 

Applicants can request up to £6,000 for projects that build on existing engagement work, test innovative approaches, or support skill development in engagement practice.

If you are aged 18 to 55 years old, and in good health, you may be eligible to take part in the BiVISTA study to find a vaccine against typhoid and paratyphoid A fever.

Participants will be vaccinated with the new vaccine or control, and then exposed to the bacteria that causes paratyphoid fever. All study participants will receive antibiotic treatment.

All participants will be reimbursed up to £4585 for their time, inconvenience, and travel.
