We know what will happen when one pendulum swings. But two? 'Oxford Mathematicians and their Toys', episode three, starring Jon Chapman (and the pendulums).

When we started putting our students lectures on YouTube and social media we knew there would be comments - positive, negative, funny, not so funny. But we weren't ready for one question that kept cropping up. So finally we've decided to answer it.

Here's a film about whiteboards.

Our new series 'Mathematicians and their toys' kicked off this week across social media with our pig man Jon Chapman bringing home the mathematical bacon. More to come (not featuring pigs).

If you have a toy come and make a pig of yourself.

Okay enough...
