A Computational Mathematics Student Summer Placement is available at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. 

The Mathematical Research Software Engineering Group sits within the Computational Mathematics Theme of the Scientific Computing Department. As a summer placement student in our Group, you will be embedded in the team and will become familiar with our software, the mathematics behind it, and the problems it is designed to solve.

GSK is building a new team in their AI R&D department, lead by a fellow Oxford MMath alumnus. Join us in the very fast-growing space of pharmaceutical finance and answer important questions like “How can we optimise our capital allocation for the development of essential medicines and vaccines? What level of risk can we afford to take given our budget? What can historical data tell us about the uncertainty in clinical trial outcomes?”

CCI (Castleton Commodities International), a leading global energy commodities trader and infrastructure asset investor, will be running coffee chats on 6 March, providing an opportunity to learn more about their commodities rotational Analysis & internship program.
