We value your insights and invite you to share how your lecture courses are going so far! This is a chance to let us know what's working well and what could be improved, and we can then enact any changes required whilst term is still ongoing.

This term, one of the third year Physics students is running a competitive, high-stakes treasure hunt as a fundraising event for the charity Christians Against Poverty. They would like to invite and encourage many of you to take part as you would be very well equipped to solve the puzzles involved. The essential details are as follows:

The start of a new term can often be an overwhelming time. There's lots of resources for you within your College or across the wider university. Here in the Maths Institute, we want to support you as best we can.

The Maths Institute has a student-specific email that can act as a first point of call. If you have a question or concern and you're not sure who to ask, email @email. 

Next week's Fridays@2 session will be a panel session, discussing how to get the most out of intercollegiate classes. 

The charity We Solve Problems invites applications from undergraduates and postgraduates in Mathematics and related disciplines (such as Statistics, Theoretical Physics, etc) for tutoring role within the Maths Circles programme, now entering its third year at Keble College.

Enrolment for Michaelmas term courses in Modern Languages and Academic English at the Language Centre is open until 12 noon on Wednesday of Week 1 (15 October). Classes take place weekly, online or in person, with many lunchtime and evening sessions on offer.

Nightline is an independent listening, support, and information service run for students, by students.

Ambassadors are students that make our outreach events truly welcoming and friendly, and make sure that things run smoothly. They’re pro-active and enthusiastic about Maths, and they work with us on open days, the Maths Festival, school visits, and online events like OOMC and the MAT Livestream. We pay our ambassadors Oxford Living Wage for most events.
