Research interests

My research lies at the intersection of physics, number theory, geometry, and computation.

For my DPhil, I am focusing on the geometry and arithmetic of Calabi-Yau manifolds in the context of quantum gravity black holes. I also use computational methods, such as SageMath and Pari/GP.

Further details

In parallell with my research, I am actively engaged in outreach and equality policies within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Among others, I've worked with UNESCO, European Union and the Nobel Prize Foundation. I've published a Swedish book aimed at young girls finding their place in mathematics. More information about my outreach work can be found at https://www.eleonorasvanberg.com/outreach. I'm always happy to work on projects related to this!
