When: 21-27 August 2022

The Clay Mathematics Institute is pleased to offer faculty and research fellows in the Mathematical Institute the opportunity to convene a small working group with colleagues and collaborators in the week 21-27 August 2022, on a research topic of compelling current interest in any branch of fundamental mathematics. It is anticipated that a working group may involve up to four visitors to Oxford.

For funded projects, CMI will provide bed and breakfast accommodation at St Anne's College from Sunday 21 August to Saturday 28 August, and will provide an evening meal at the College.

Applicants are expected to cover all travel and additional costs; they are also responsible for finding a suitable working space for their group within the AWB or elsewhere in Oxford; and they are responsible for whatever administrative arrangements may be necessary - CMI is simply offering accommodation and meals as described above.

The application process for this funding is deliberately light.

Applicants should send a 1-2 page summary of their project as soon as possible to @email with a copy to @email

The summary should describe the focus of the working group, name the team members, and explain the expected contribution of each team member. The groups that are funded will be asked to provide a 1-page report describing their activities, and CMI's funding should be acknowledged on any publications that emerge.
