Young Person Consultative Panel
To help MEI (Mathematics Education Innovation) achieve its aims, the views of young people are vital. That is why, in 2022, they established a Young Persons Consultative Panel (YPCP) consisting of enthusiastic volunteers aged between 16 and 26.
The role of YPCP is to provide insights to MEI on specific issues relating to the student experience of mathematics education and provide MEI with suggestions and guidance for how the organisation could help address the issues.
The YPCP has also worked closely with the AMSP to guide some of our resources for students, such as our new Why Maths video collection.
MEI is happy to announce they are seeking new members to join the YPCP.
If you or someone you know is between the ages of 16 and 26, this is an excellent opportunity to work with MEI to develop the future of young people through math inclusion.
