MMSC Industrially Funded Scholarships

The Mathematical Institute is pleased to be able to announce a small number of partial scholarships to students beginning the MSc Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing course in the 2026-27 academic year. The awards are funded through the course's links with industry partners.

Terms and conditions

A small number of scholarships will be awarded, each of a grant of £7,500 towards living costs. Awards will be made based on academic merit.

Only applicants for the MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing course who submit their application by the January deadline will be considered. 

How to apply

To be considered for the studentships, all you have to do is submit your completed application for the MSc in Mathematical Modelling in either the November or the January application deadline. Selection is expected to take place by mid-May 2026.
