Hello all, we are the Mirzakhani Society, a group for all the women and non-binary mathematicians at Oxford. We run lots and lots of relaxed events from pizza nights to career conferences. Our main aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment for women* to come together and chat about life, maths and anything in-between.
Our main event is our weekly sip and solves, which will be taking place this week on Tuesday 18th February from 2-4pm in the North Mezzanine (if you’re facing cafe pi, turn left, keep walking, and you should find us!). There is always free delicious snacks, tea and coffee provided. Come along to collaborate on some problem sheets, make new friends and meet some super cool women* in maths! See you then!
