The charity We Solve Problems invites applications from undergraduates and postgraduates in Mathematics and related disciplines (such as Statistics, Theoretical Physics, etc) for tutoring role within the Maths Circles programme, now entering its third year at Keble College.
Maths Circles are lively, intellectually stimulating sessions for motivated pupils in Years 7–11. The emphasis is on problem-solving and critical thinking, rather than rote learning. These in-person sessions draw upon carefully curated extra-curricular problems developed by We Solve Problems.

As a tutor, you will benefit from:
- The rewarding experience of working with highly motivated young mathematicians
- An Enhanced DBS check (funded by the charity)
- Training in working effectively with children
- Fair pay of £30 per hour

Maths Circles take place weekly on Sundays for two hours, typically running from September to May. While regular commitment is encouraged, attendance at every session is not obligatory.
