Holder Scholarships - Two MSc Scholarships in Partnership with Christ Church - Cloned

The Mathematical Institute is pleased to be able to announce two Holder scholarships for students beginning the MSc Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing or MSc Mathematical Sciences course in the 2026-27 academic year. These scholarships are co-funded by Christ Church, in part thanks to the generosity of  Mark Holder.

Terms and conditions

The scholarship will award a contribution to fees at home level only (for any successful applicant, irrespective of whether they are to pay home or overseas fees) together with a grant for living expenses at the equivalent of the UKRI  annual doctoral stipend rate. 

Only applicants for the MSc in Mathematical Sciences and the MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing course who submit their application by the January deadline will be considered. The successful applicants will be transferred to Christ Church in order to take up the scholarship if they did not apply to the college.

How to apply

To be considered for these studentships, all you have to do is submit your completed application for an eligible MSc programme by the January application deadline. Selection is expected to take place by in late March 2026.
