2026 National PDE Event: Stability Analysis for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations across Multiscale Applications / 15th Oxbridge PDE Conference

This joint one-week PDE event comprises the Workshop on Stability Analysis for Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations across Multiscale Applications (Monday–Thursday) and the 15th Oxbridge PDE Conference (Thursday–Friday), taking place on 16–20 March 2026.
 
The workshop will focus primarily on the following four interrelated themes:
 
1.     Stability Analysis of Shock Wave Patterns of Reflection and Diffraction
2.     Stability Analysis of Vortex Sheets and Other Characteristic Discontinuities
3.     Stability Analysis of Particle to Continuum Limits
4.     Stability Analysis of Asymptotic Limits
 
In addition, the programme will cover other closely related topics in nonlinear PDEs across multiscale applications in Mathematics and the Sciences.
A joint one-and-a-half-day programme will take place on Thursday 19 March and Friday 20 March, bringing together members of the Oxford Centre for Nonlinear PDEs (OxPDE) and the Cambridge PDE group,  together with workshop participants, as part of the 15th Oxbridge PDE Conference (19–20 March 2026).
