Kit, who has recently finished his DPhil in Mathematical Biology her in Oxford Mathematics and is now at Harvard Medical School, received the award for his work while in Oxford. As a fellow he will apply mathemaitcal modelling to liquid biopsies – simple blood tests that detect tiny fragments of DNA released by cancer cells.
