To tie in with mental health awareness week, in this session we'll give a brief overview of the mental health support available through the department and university, followed by a panel discussion on how we can look after our mental health in an academic setting. We're pleased that several of our department Mental Health First Aiders will be panellists - come along for hints and tips on maintaining good mental health and supporting your colleagues and friends.

The cafe will be serving pizza on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2-4pm from next week onwards. Call it a sort of post-lunch pre-dinner snack. It proved very popular pre-pandemic, so why not take a look?

Join us in L6 from 1-2 on Wednesday 10th May to hear from female PhD students and postDocs from all areas of maths about their research. The short talks will be followed by a Q&A as well as a chance to mingle with the speakers over lunch in the Mezzanine. This event is primarily aimed at women and other minorities in mathematics, but everyone is welcome to come along. Sign up so that we have a good idea of numbers.
