The Oxford AI Gala sees 350 AI professionals, founders, and researchers gather on 31 May 2025 at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. This event is a unique opportunity to connect with Oxford's world-class AI ecosystem, global industry leaders, and University of Oxford researchers and students.
As usual the MPLS division is running a broad range of online and in-person free training courses this term for all research staff and DPhil students.

The University of Oxford’s Public and Community Engagement with Research (PCER) Fund offers termly funding rounds to support researchers and engagement professionals in developing or enhancing their research through high-quality public and community engagement activities.
Applicants can request up to £6,000 for projects that build on existing engagement work, test innovative approaches, or support skill development in engagement practice.
If you are aged 18 to 55 years old, and in good health, you may be eligible to take part in the BiVISTA study to find a vaccine against typhoid and paratyphoid A fever.
Participants will be vaccinated with the new vaccine or control, and then exposed to the bacteria that causes paratyphoid fever. All study participants will receive antibiotic treatment.
All participants will be reimbursed up to £4585 for their time, inconvenience, and travel.
