New award-winning charity initiative coming to Oxford

May Week Alternative is an award-winning initiative set up in Cambridge which aims to put charity at the heart of celebration and change the way students think about giving. It’s raised over £50,000 for the Against Malaria Foundation in under two years, with hundreds of students joining the movement. Now, you have the chance to be a part of bringing it here to Oxford this year! 

Office for Students (OfS) has launched a consultation on harassment and sexual misconduct in higher education. They are seeking views on a proposed statement of expectations for the prevention of harassment and sexual misconduct, and for addressing it effectively when it occurs.

The Oxford Maths Festival is an annual Maths extravaganza for the local community hosted by the Mathematical Institute. We are running a packed weekend of mathematical activities over the weekend of 15-16 February (end of Hilary Week 4). Every year this event attracts hundreds of local residents, with children aged 3-14 as well as adults. We need all the help we can get to ensure the event runs smoothly.

We need volunteers to help with:

Thursday 5th December outside L1. 11am-1pm
