A funded PhD position is available at University College Dublin, for the project "Individual bovine variation in the transmission and disease of Mycobacterium bovis" starting in September 2026.  

The project is supervised by Dr Miriam Casey (School of Veterinary Medicine) and Dr Michael Fop (School of Mathematics and Statistics). 

PhD Scholarships are available in the Centre for Doctoral Training in the Mathematics for our Future Climate (MFC CDT) at the University of Reading. The opportunity offers an enhanced stipend of £10,000 above the UKRI minimum stipend of £21,000 for students eligible for home fees status.

A PhD position is available as part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Training Network COMBINE – Coupled Problems for Decarbonization in Industry and Power Generation, which brings together 17 leading academic institutions and 14 industrial partners across Europe.

A fully-funded PhD position is available within the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Liverpool, starting in September 2026. Applications are welcome from all areas of mathematics, and they particularly encourage applications from those interested in probability.

Technical AI Governance (TAIG) DPhil Studentships are a first-of-their-kind opportunity for doctoral study that are designed to train researchers who can bridge the gap between advanced AI systems and effective governance. Affiliated with the technical branch of the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative (AIGI), at the University of Oxford, which is co-directed by Prof.

Collaborative Computational Modelling at the Interface (CCMI) is an EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT), offering a fully funded 4-year PhD programme at University College London (UCL) and Imperial College London. 

This programme consists of a four-year research thesis on the interface of computational sciences, research software engineering and data sciences, resulting in a PhD from UCL or Imperial.

The CCMI CDT positively encourage and welcome applications from members of underrepresented groups.
