I study geometric group theory. Recently, I've been very interested in quasiisometric embedding of CAT(0) cube complexes and buildings of the same rank (not necessarily of the same dimension). This can be seen as an investigation of higher rank generalisations of a theorem of Bonk and Schramm about embedding of hyperbolic groups into H^n. I am also interested in a different generalisation, to the relative setting.
In a different direction, I've also been interested in variations of higher property (T) - vanishing of group cohomology with L^p coefficients.
