The Mathematics Department is committed to creating a happy and healthy working environment, where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.  We do not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying.

The Department has several Harassment Advisors who can offer confidential support and advice, and are a good first contact for help. Seeking support from one of our Advisors is not the same as making a complaint – this is an informal opportunity to seek confidential advice. However if you would like to make a formal complaint, they can facilitate you in this.

The University also has information on support and advice relating to harassment and bullying including the University’s policy and procedures here.

Sexual Harassment

The Sexual Harassment and Violence Support Service provides a safe space for you to be heard, with advisors offering free support and advice to any current student who has been impacted by sexual harassment or violence.
