2025 MPLS Teaching Award
I coordinate the admissions process for the undergraduate Mathematics / Mathematics and Statistics course at Oxford, and (together with the Faculty of Philosophy), the joint-honours Mathematics and Philosophy course. Oxford has 29 colleges that admit undergraduate mathematicians, and we're all working together to look for the best students overall.
Outside of admissions, I spend most of the year working on a range of outreach projects. I manage the outreach team in the Mathematical Institute, and I deliver Maths content for the UNIQ Summer Schools and Opportunity Oxford. I host the Oxford Mathematics Admissions Test Livestream for people thinking of studying maths at university, and the Oxford Online Maths Club from January to June each year, which has super-curricular mathematics ideas for people interested in maths. In 2026, we launched the pilot programme for a major new outreach project with a focus on GCSE Mathematics.

I'm a Stipendiary Lecturer at New College, where I lead tutorials (small-group teaching) on the following topics;

I have Associate Fellowship of the HEA via a course that I took with the Centre for Teaching and Learning in Oxford. I would recommend the course to anyone else leading tutorials in Oxford.
Starting in the 2025-26 academic year, I'm the lecturer for the Introduction to University Mathematics course at Oxford. This involves two in-person lectures at the Mathematical Institute, and many video lectures which we've made publicly available on the department's second YouTube channel in case they're helpful for anyone else preparing to start Mathematics at university.
