Further details

James is the Industry Engagement Officer responsible for securing industrial projects for students on the MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing (MMSC MSc) course, and for supporting students on the MSc in Mathematical and Computational Finace (MCF MSc) course to secure internships.

James is also a student in the Centre for Doctoral Training in Industrially Focused Mathematical Modelling (InFoMM CDT). Through his postgraduate research, James hopes to shed light on abnormal combustion phenomena within internal combustion engines. His work involves modelling the interactions between exothermic chemical reactions and fluid dynamics using partial differential equations.
