Reordering Lecture Videos

By default, Videos in Panopto are ordered by the date they were recorded (newest first). If this order is not suitable - e.g. if you uploaded a batch of videos manually - you can override the default order as follows:

Go to the Courses site and make sure you are logged in - click "Log in with SSO" in the top right corner if not.

Navigate to the relevant course - either using the list on the homepage, or from "My courses". Make sure you select the course for the current year.

Click "Lecture Videos".

Optional: Click the "Open in Panopto" icon at the top right to open the folder in a bigger window, making it easier to move videos around.

Click the "Folder Settings" (cogwheel) icon at the top right.

Click "Order" in the left menu.

Make sure "Set the display order for this folder" is ticked.

Drag the items into the desired order. Changes are saved automatically.

Close the tab when you are done.
