My research lies in between Geometric and Combinatorial Group Theory, looking at geometric aspects of groups - such as volume growth, geodesic growth and random walks - and more algorithmic ones - such as membership problems and link with formal languages. Some of the groups I like to think about are nilpotent groups, lamplighter groups, the Grigorchuk group or Thompson's groups F, T and V.
