Quantum Information, Computation and Cryptography Group

We conduct theoretical research into all aspects of quantum information processing, and into the implications of the quantum theory of computation for physics itself.

We are always interested to receive applications from strong candidates for DPhil positions. Please do not get in touch directly to enquire about DPhil positions as all applications are handled CENTRALLY. For more information, please see the main university pages.

Lectures

Introduction to Quantum Information

In this series of lectures you will learn how inherently quantum phenomena, such as quantum interference and quantum entanglement, can make information processing more efficient and more secure, even in the presence of noise.

Conferences and workshops

We organise the annual SEEQA (Seeking Quantum Advantage) conference which brings together world-leading experts in Oxford to debate the challenges and opportunities in the worldwide effort to achieve general Quantum Advantage.
