To upload multiple subfolders at once
If you need to upload multiple files and retain the directory structure, do the following instead:
In Explorer, navigate to the top level that you want to upload.
Select the files/subfolders you want to include, e.g. by pressing Ctrl+A (select all) or holding Ctrl and clicking each in turn.
Right-click any of the highlighted files/folders, then click 7-Zip > Add to "<name>.zip". Wait until it generates that file.
Drag-and-drop the zip file from Explorer onto the folder in Moodle to upload it.
Right-click the zip file in Moodle, then click "Unzip". This will add the files/subfolders to Moodle.
Right-click the zip file in Moodle again, then click "Delete" then "Yes".
Click "Save changes".
Delete the zip file from Explorer.
