Submitting Problem Sheets & Other Assignments
Prerequisites
- You must be enrolled in the relevant course - otherwise the "Add submission" button will be hidden.
- You must be registered for the relevant class - otherwise your work won't be accessible by your tutor/TA.
- Your work must be in PDF format. (It may be a scanned handwritten document, or exported from another application - LaTeX, Word, etc. - as appropriate.)
Submitting Work
To submit problem sheets, go to https://courses.maths.ox.ac.uk/. Make sure you are logged in - click "Log in with SSO" in the top-right corner if not.
Navigate to the relevant course - either using the "Courses" list on the homepage, the "Search courses" search box, or the "My courses" page in the top menu. If you use the search box, make sure you select the course for the current academic year.
Click the assignment you want to submit.
Click the "Add submission" button.
Drag and drop your file onto the window where indicated. Alternatively, click the "Add" icon, then "Upload a file", then "Browse", select the file using the file picker, and click "Upload this file".
Finally, click "Save changes" to submit your work to your tutor/TA for marking. You will receive an email confirmation.
Viewing Marked Work
Once your work has been marked, you will receive an email notification with a link to the feedback. Alternatively, you can find it on the assignment page under the heading "Feedback".
Feedback may consist of:
- An overall grade (α+, α, αβ, βα, β, βγ, γβ, γ, or γ-);
- An overall comment; and/or
- A copy of your submission (PDF) with feedback handwritten or typed by the tutor/TA.
Data Archival
Problem sheet submissions (including feedback) are removed from Moodle at the end of each academic year. We recommend that you retain a copy of your submission after uploading it, and download any feedback that you would like to keep beyond the current year.
