AV Systems in the Video Conferencing Room (VC1)

Overview

The AV in this room is similar to other teaching spaces, but with some elements optimised for the online teaching via Microsoft Teams (Taught Course Centre). The room has a tracking camera, rather than a camera per whiteboard as in neighbouring rooms; it also has a Microsoft Teams Room system, as used in the meeting rooms, which in turn means the touchscreen controls are slightly different.

Basic usage

First, select the appropriate mode from the lectern touchscreen. For a Teams lecture, you will typically want to select "Teams Mode" then either Whiteboard or PC.

Then use the Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) touchscreen to join/start the call.
