We know that 100% of 538 is, well, just 538.**Step 2:**If 100% of 538 is 538, then we can get 1% of 538 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 538 / 100. This is equal to 5.38. Now we know that 1% is 5.38.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 538 is, we just need to multiply it by 1 to get our solution! 5.38 times 1 = 5.38. That's all there is to it!
