Research Strategy Group

The Research Committee’s Research Strategy Group works informally with the Head of Department and the Associate Head of Department for Research to formulate detailed plans and implementation mechanisms for the department’s research strategy. The Research Strategy Group is comprised of the Head of Department, the Associate Head of Department for Research, the Head of Research Facilitation, and four, or exceptionally five, senior members of the department (nominated by the Head of Department and the Associate Head of Department for Research, endorsed by Research Committee, and confirmed by Department Committee), with the Head of Administration and Finance in attendance. The Research Strategy Group normally meets on Wednesdays of week 4 of each term, if required.
